    Joseph Russo was born in Brooklyn and grew up in New Jersey and Staten Island. His film credits include JERSEY BOYS, as Joe Pesci dir. Clint Eastwood, THE IRISHMAN, as Bruno Rossi, dir. Martin Scorsese, THE KITCHEN as well as a show in which he created and co-wrote with Justin Schack, Alev Ayedin, and Jeremy Luke called SMALL SHOTS, that premiered on NETFLIX  About two guys trying to be big shots but are just small shots. He has also been on numerous tv shows and most recently could be seen on PARAMOUNT PLUS’ THE OFFER playing the part of “CRAZY” JOE GALLO. He is currently studying with Lyle Kessler in Lyle Kessler’s Master Class, as well as a considered finalist for THE ACTORS STUDIO.  He is very proud to be apart of this production.

  • CONNOR KILLEEN IS THE KID

    Connor is a graduate of The Meisner Technique Studio in San Francisco. He has been the lead in three feature films IS THIS META, THE FRATERNITY MEN, BURIED BELOW. You’ve recently seen him in the hit Lifetime Film MY ESCORT BEST FRIEND and the Emmy award winning show ONE DAY AT A TIME. With this rendition of THE PITCH, Connor will be completing a trifecta of runs as “the Kid.” Last December he was in the new play COME SUNDOWN, and in June he was “Hamlet” in THE SPIRIT OF THE DANE at The Santa Monica Playhouse.

  • KEVIN BARTINI IS SCRAMBY

    Kevin Bartini is a nationally touring comedian, writer, and occasional TV and radio personality.  His unique impro skills have led to numerous appearances on ABC’s hidden camera show What Would You Do?   Kevin can currently be seen in the recurring role of Billy Jones on Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.  He is also featured in the second season of the HBOMax series And Just Like That. Kevin was discovered by Jon Stewart, who hired him to warm up audiences at The Daily Show and The Colbert Report.  In the subsequent years, having earned the respect of not only Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert but of their audiences, Kevin became one of the most sought-after Audience Warm-Up comics in television! He has been seen warming up audiences for ABC’s Match Game with Alec Baldwin, The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert amongst others. Bartini garnered international attention over the course of three years while leading a successful campaign to co-name West 121 Street in New York City after his hero, George Carlin.

  • Tom Alper is tom allen

    Tom, a native New Yorker and UCLA grad, He is an actor, writer, and producer. He recently won a 'Best Actor' award at 'The Las Vegas Black Film Festival' for his menacing portrayal of a policeman in the multiple award-winning film, "Sick Puppy.” He can currently be seen in the lead role of the cult classic feature film, "The Guest House" streaming on Amazon Prime, and his most recent film, “The End of Me’ is playing on the film festival circuit. Tom dedicates his play and performance to his daughters, Sarah and Vanessa.

  • Joe Lorenzo is mike

    Joe is excited to be back home.  Joe was born in Brooklyn and raised mostly in Long Island, he's thrilled to be able to perform here where his aunt's, uncles, cousins and more can see him on stage.  Joe originated the role of Mike and has played him in every run since. "I'm thankful to be here and for the role of Mike.  It seems like Tom wrote the role for me, he just hadn't met me yet!"  Joe is currently shooting season 2 of Diarra from Detroit, revisiting the role of Detective Holstein.  The show is rated 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, check it out.  Joe has worked on Barry, Murder in the First, Mr. Mayor, American Horror Story and more.  "My heart will always be with the theater and my favorite roles have been in 26 Pebbles, playing multiple members of the community in Sandy Hook, Sylvio in James McClure's Private Wars and, of course, Mike!  The most thanks are for my wife and kids, Vanessa, Joey and Oscar, Daddy misses you!  I started this journey as an actor over 30 years ago and now I'm coming home.  This is a very special run for me, thanks for being here.

    Sammi O’Connor (she/her) is a New York City based performer who is thrilled to be making her Off- Broadway debut with THE PITCH! She is currently training to receive her BFA in Commercial Dance from Pace University, but got her start in upstate New York.   • Phil Hendrie is mel

    Phil Hendrie, over the last two and a half decades, has been radio and podcasting icon, a voice-over artist (more than 40 voices) and a character actor in Hollywood. Hendrie performs up to 7 different characters daily on his critically acclaimed “World of Phil Hendrie podcast and always receives rave reviews for his portrayal of these tightly wound, over-the top people that he creates himself. The show continues to draw in thousands of loyal listeners creating a huge fan base. Hendrie has worked with Judd Apatow on a couple of projects such as "This is 40" and "North Hollywood." Other film roles include "Team America: World Police," "Last Call," "Semi-Pro," "Futurama: Into the Wild Green." Hendrie has been a Series Regular on "Teachers," provided over 20 character voices on "King of the Hill" and starred in his own animated pilot called "The Phil Hendrie Show" produced by Steve Levitan. Some of his Guest Star roles have been on "Modern Family," “Grey’s Anatomy,” "Maron," Grace and Frankie,” “Giants of Radio," ,"Andy Richter Controls the Universe," etc... Phil has been a major recurring on "The Unit," "Futurama," "The Replacements," "Napoleon Dynamite,"(animated series), etc... Most recently Phil Guest Starred on "New Girl," "Playing House" Adult Swim's "Rick and Morty" and "Drunk History. Hendrie has just begun doing his famous cult characters live such as (Ted Bell, Margaret Gray, Bobbie Doolie, Steve Bosell, Skippy etc...)to sold out comedy/theater venues.

  • Grant hall is jason

    Grant Alexander Hall was born in Dallas, Texas, the son of Amy Hall, former model and now owner of Ebony Construction, and Joseph Hall, an ex Major League Baseball player. He is the middle child of three boys, his brothers are Kellen Leake and Joseph Hall Jr. He grew up playing a number of competitive sports his entire life, primarily baseball. While playing baseball at Rend Lake College he was discovered by an acting teacher at the school who thought he "had the perfect look for T.V. and film". After being persuaded by the teacher to give acting a try, he decided to give it a chance and very quickly discovered his passion for the craft. He was signed by the first talent agent that interviewed him and committed full-time to his acting studies. Grant Hall’s recent stage credits include Love Game, Skeleton Crew and Hatful of Rain. Recent television credits: Grown-Ish, Tough Love, and Cocaine Sisters. Recent film credits: Trigger, Promises and 2 Eye Drops From Normal.

    Julie Tran is a rare Brooklyn native who is constantly performing and writing sketch comedy with the likes of College RadioBragging Rights, and HERLarious to name a few, as well as hosting her own stand up show, But What'd You Say. Most recently in Dog Sees God and now she gets to do more funny stuff in The Pitch! Hey. Guess what kind of movies she likes? Go ahead, guess.
    She also hosts all kinds of shows, does voice over work for Lux Lighting, and makes one heck of a cheese plate.

  • Michael Kevin Walsh is Mel & Ricky Ray

    Michael Kevin Walsh is the creator and proprietor of The Smooth Spot digital recording studio in New York City where he has recorded all sorts of artists including up and coming composers and Broadway stars for over 25 years.  He has been musical directing many musical productions and performing with various musical groups all over the world and won the VIV award for best Musical Director for Sally and Tom (The American Way). For many years, he performed with a four-party harmony group, The New York Vagabonds on cruise ships and other high-end venues. In the theater, Michael has performed leading roles in numerous musical productions including Billy Bigelow in Carousel, Fred Graham in Kiss Me Kate, and Chuck Baxter in Promises, Promises.   • Makenna Weyburne is Michelle

    Makenna Weyburne is thrilled to be making her Off-Broadway debut in The Pitch. A film actress turned stage performer, she has appeared in several independent and feature films, including Never Been Kissed (dir. David Rafailedes), Daughter of Wands (dir. Emma Hall-Martin), and the YouTube sensation Mudblood (Parts 1-3). Makenna is grateful for the opportunity to continue exploring her passion for acting through this transition to the stage. Offstage, she is currently a student at Fordham University, pursuing a degree in Sociology. Shout out to her family and friends for their support, and to YOU for supporting live theatre in New York City!

  • Christian Mosello is SKUNK

    Christian grew up in Westchester County, New York. First play was in high school in my senior year, playing a guard and a priest in the play "The King and I". After graduating high school, he went to college to playfootball, and study biology and c hemistry. In his last semester of college he started taking acting classes in NYC. He first studied at HB Studios, then went on to study in several different studios in New York City, and finally settled into Sam Schacht's weekly acting class, where the studied for several years. He also has studied at The Neighborhood Playhouse in NYC. He appeared in Off Broadway plays, student films, Soap opera extra work, Sex and the city, two times and one independent film playing the lead in "Behind the eyes of a Hitman". He also has show and sold photography landscapes and city scenes, in galleries in New York City, and has shown abstract paintings in Westchester County. He calls himself. An Abstract Expressionist. He is currently working on a documentary project where he plays a man in the 1960's that grew up in Coney Island, and went on to be very well known. Chris is "thrilled" to be a part of The Pitch and more excited then ever before. He thanks his family and friends for all there love and support.

    Christine Blackburn is the youngest of 6 kids who grew up  in a suburb of Pittsburgh. Inspired by David Letterman and trying to get attention in a big family, she is a comedian and the creator & host of the Story Worthy Podcast, Story Smash the Storytelling Game Show played at The Lyric/Hyperion and the My Life In 3 Songs podcast, exclusively on Spotify.

  • Patrick Saint Ange is The Kid & Scramby

    Patrick Saint Ange (aka Saint) is thrilled to make his Off-Broadway debut understudying “The Kid” and “Scramby” in The Pitch. Recent credits include the National Tour of Hero: The Boy From Troy (Jaydan/John), Margaritaville (Jamal/Ted) and Rock of Ages (Mayor/Ja’Keith/) at The Gateway Playhouse, and Stranger Sings! The Musical (Lucas/Demogorgon) at The Straz Center. A proud first-generation Haitian American and graduate of Binghamton University (B.A. in Sociology & English Creative Writing, minor in Theatre), Saint is deeply grateful to his family, friends, and mentors for their support.
